Congratulations to
the Twin Bridges track team on the strong finish at State! The boys 1600
relay team finished first and set a new school record with the time of
3:27.69. Members of the relay were Michael Pfertsh, CJ Cox, Tristen
Guillot, and Jesse Pfertsh. Jessica George also set a new school record
in the 3200 with a smashing first-place finish in 11:55.05 and Jessica
placed 4th in the mile. Jesse Pfertsh finished 3rd in the 200 and 5th in
the 400; Tristen Guillot finished 3rd in the mile and 2nd in the 800;
Paige Phillips placed 4th in the 400; Daphne Puckett placed 5th in the
shot put and the girls 1600 M relay finished in 3rd. Runners on the
girls relay were Jessica George, Paige Phillips, Kelsie Dustin and
Mikayla Tilstra. We are PROUD of you!
Congratulations to the Lady Falcons on
placing third at the State Class C Basketball Tournament.
The Lady Falcons beat Hinsdale in the tourney opener 51-37 and played
Belt in the semi-finals Friday night coming up short 59-39. Saturday
morning the team roared back beating Drummond 45-32 and moved onto the
consolation game. The Falcons played Hinsdale for the second time and
cruised to the third place finish 62-46.
Lady Falcons we are proud of you.
Congratulations to our senior leaders on your outstanding basketball
season.

The Twin Bridges Cross
Country teams ran at the State meet in Helena on Saturday, October 20th.
The Boys brought home the silver plaque, while the Girls team toppled
the reigning 6-time State Champion team, Belt, toppling a giant that was
expected to continue leveling the competition. Individual All-State
Awards went to Tristen Guillot at 2nd, Andrew George at 3rd, Hannah
Konen at 4th, Paige Phillips at 11th, and Jessica George, a Freshman, at
the coveted spot of Individual State Champion, edging out all the
competition by at least 18 seconds. Go
