The following students placed in the Montana Tech Regional Science Fair March 10th in Butte. Blue Ribbons and a bronze medal went to Kaylan Garrison and Megan Martin. A blue ribbon and a gold medal went to Kjersten Sandru and Rachael Nye. Rachael also placed in the top ten and received a "geysers, mud pots and hot springs Yellowstone ed venture grand award" sponsored by the Dennis and Phyllis Washington foundation. She will go with nine other students in May. Blue Ribbons and a bronze medal also went to Julia Cox and Paige Phillips. Woody Puckett got a blue ribbon and a silver medal. He also received an award for the "Outstanding 5th-6th graders exhibiting the best use of mathematics" from the Montana Tech Math Department. Other students receiving second place ribbons were: Alice Giem, Kelsey Dustin, and Matt Leber. Third place ribbons went to Michael Walsh, Andrew George, Jerricho Broksle, Amy Tilstra, Mikayla Tilstra, Daphne Puckett, and Seth Dustin. Congratulations to all of our budding scientists!!!
